Microsoftは5月6日(米国時間)、「What’s new in macOS management: Platform SSO and more｜Microsoft Intune blog」や「Platform SSO for macOS now in public preview｜Microsoft Microsoft Entra Blog 」において、Microsoft Entra IDでmacOS向けのPlatform Single Sign-On(SSO)が正式にパブリックプレビュー段階に入ったことを伝えた。Appleデバイス用のMicrosoft Enterprise SSOプラグインの拡張機能とされ、Appleデバイスの使用と管理をよりシームレスかつ安全にすると説明している。
